My Life as a Crew
Working
as a crew is not the life I’ve dreamed of. Because being a service crew is not
that easy, you have to provide fast, accurate and friendly service to your
customers, smiling even under pressure, handling customer complains, and still smiling
and being hospitable even when under pressure or during rush hours, and still working
even if you’re stomach is already churning, you also have to serve complete
products to customers, no missing items, and you have to ensure that all
products are punched. You’ll encounter different kinds of customers from different
walks of life, and various kinds of customer complaints; you’ll experience
humiliation from customers, crab mentality and favoritism from the manager. And
just receive a small amount of compensation. But nevertheless, that’s life
after all, that’s what they call it the survival of the fittest. I’m at the
center the one in the yellow uniform, this picture was taken during the
Father’s Day promo when we gave free 100 McSpicy Burger to the first 100
customers.
Different Kinds of
Crew

Self-Extend- these are the crews that
voluntarily extends there self even if not ask by the manager. They extend their
selves for 1hour/ 2hours or 3hours. And sometimes they even extend their self
even if it’s unnecessary. (mga nagpapa-yaman)
The Clown-they usually makes the atmosphere
full of joy, fun and laughter by being a joker and at the same time as a clown.
But it’s a good thing that they make people laugh to remove stress.
The Paparazzi-they are the top 1 when it comes
to the hottest and latest gossips. Ask them anything and they will tell you
every detail about the latest gossips on the store.
The backstabber-these are the fake friends that
you thought are true to you but you never knew that they talk shit behind your
back.
The flirt-these are the crews whose main
goal at work is to flirt with the opposite sex. Usually they do more
flirtations than working. Most of the time, you can see them flirting with
their co-crew. (Mga KSP) You could easily notice them due to their flirtatious
behavior.
The Juan Tamad-you can always see them standing
there doing nothing in short mga taong malakas pumetics (simpleng petix) you
cannot rely on them in case of emergencies.
The VIP-they are the ones who are very
choosy who cannot even extend their selves just for an hour. And even if they
are willing to extend they are very choosy on what station they would like.
The Snorlax-usually you can see them lying at the Stock room taking a nap
with the door locked so no one will notice Snorlax is sleeping
The Most Diligent-they are the ones who don’t know
the world AWOL (Absence without Official Leave) they go to work regularly
without absences because they are so diligent and passionate in working, they
are willing to be extended and if you look on their profiles 0 AWOL, 0 Late and
No bad records at all.
The CR Monster- they usually spend much their
time inside the CR, sitting inside the cubicle with the door locked for minutes
and hours (mga simpleng petics) and sometimes even eating inside the cubicle.
The Bad Monster –usually they are hated by their
fellow crews due to their bad behavior, laziness and boastfulness. They usually
complain about everything, and were so airy so you should beware about this bad
monster.
One day Millionaire-you could easily notice them
because they are the number1 AWOL or No Show after the pay day. They spend all
their money once they got their salary, spending cash like a millionaire and
after they’ve had no money left its time for them to go back and start working
again.
The Slut-these are the slut and bitches
who can’t keep their dirty mouth shut. They usually talk about sex most of the
time and worse even at work, even customers hear what their dirty mouths are
blabbing.
Feeling Manager-they’re such a pain in the ass
because they do act like a manager, they are so irritating and disturbing.
They’re so bossy and think that they are ahead and far way better than the
others. They are usually hated due to their rude behavior.
Life at McDo
Working
at McDonalds is somehow fun. I love my McDonalds Friends “The Bonds” for
without them I’d have been sad; I love the joy, the fun, and the laughter.

Customers
Senior Citizen
Monster-these
are the customers who argue for
their Senior Citizen Discounts. Mga Senior Citizen na handing makipag away ng
dahil lang sa SCD na yan po** (pardon the metaphor). I remember once there was
this male senior citizen na inaway ako ng dahil lang sa hindi naisali yung
.57cents nya t****** lang dba?! He got mad at me just because of .57 Cents!
F*** I’m like Hey! Are you gonna die if I didn’t put that .57 cents in your
senior f****** discount??!! Is that a big deal?!
Perfectionist- these are customers who get
mad when you forget to punch their order; they get mad when you made a mistake
because they want everything to be perfect. Yes, it’s true that Customers are
always right (very cliché) but I think that Customers are not always right all
the time for some reasons. I encountered a rude customer, he got mad at me
because I forgot to punch his spaghetti meal then he began to get mad at me he
shouted at me and blamed me. He made me feel like stupid in front of everybody
around. I was so ashamed after that, humiliating scene. (maano lang ba na mag
order ka ulit, mamamatay ka ba if hindi ko na i-punch yun spaghetti meal mo?!
My God! )
The By-Standers- customers who only buy Coke float or Chicken fillet with rice
then stays at the store for 3-5 hours until they get tired of sitting. (gawin
bang tambayan yung store)
The Croods- customers who don’t know how to
order, mga customer na magulo kausap, mga hindi marunong mag order, mga hindi
alam kung ano yun sinasabi at inoorder. Customers who acts like The Croods (The
Movie) parang mga kalalabas lang ng cave, mga The Croods na customers, mga
mahirap kausap, magoorder ng Chicken Mcdo daw then after the order was given
mag cocomplain na hindi daw yun, yung inoorder nya Chicken Fillet daw pala (ang
p***).
PDA Lovers- these are the lovey dovey
customers who are so PDA (Public Display of Affection) they doesn’t seem to
care whether they are disturbing and distracting or censored to the eyes of the
other customers. They just kept on doing live shows like kissing in public and
etc.
Feel @ Home- Customers who talks and laughs so
loud. (mga customer na masyadong feel at home, kung makatawa wagas)
Dwarfism- these are the customers who
sounds like dwarfs, hindi mo alam kung pinaglihi sa dwarfism or sadyang mahina
lang talaga boses. They speak too soft which their nose can only hear.
The SPED- PWD or Persons with disability,
you have to waste time figuring out what was their order all about. But the
best way is to let them jot down their order if you don’t understand their sign
language.
Different Kinds of Managers
The Salesman-usually sells lots of stuff; it’s
like a walking convenience store. Name it and you can have it, from foods to
accessories, you can already see a human convenience store just by looking at
the salesman. If I were to compare, I would compare the salesman to Novo,
because it is like an All-in-One Pack you can buy goods, delicacies, and
accessories from the salesman.
Coach Ansai-the fellow crews likes Coach
Ansai (Slam Dunk) because of his kind, and silent type behavior. He is usually
silent and it seems like Coach Ansai doesn’t even know how to get mad, he just smiles.
Mr. Mime-always smiling just like Mr. Mime
of Pokémon (a fake one) it was as if a smiley face was written on Mr. Mime’s
face, but sometimes it seems so irritating and disturbing to see Mr. Mime
smiling because you couldn’t decipher if Mr. Mime is joking or smiling or
nangaasar or nangiinsulto ba?!
Shrek-known to be a terror, kalat sa
store na kumakain siya ng crew, so beware. “Shrek” tunog pa lang pamatay na!
Titignan nya bawat kilos mo, hahanapan ka ng mali mo, ipapahiya at papagalitan
ka ng bonggang bongga hanggang sa nanaisin mong sana naging isang buni ka na
lang. Isa siyang Certified Shrek!
Sharpey-loves to have fun like Sharpey of High School Musical,
Sharpey is usually nice and loves to hangout, she might be a nuisance sometimes
but the crews love Sharpey.
